How volume pricing works on Airgoods

How volume pricing tiers work for retailers: spend thresholds and discounts, what counts toward your yearly spend, how long savings last, who's eligible, stacking with promotions and tracking your progress.

Volume pricing gives you an automatic discount with a brand once your spend with that brand in a calendar year reaches a tier. The discount is fully covered by Airgoods, applies at checkout with no code, and grows as you buy more.

How the tiers work

Your spend is tracked separately for each brand, from January 1 to December 31. When your spend with a brand reaches a threshold, you unlock that tier's discount on future orders with that brand!

Tier

Yearly spend with the brand

Discount

Tier 1

$3,000

1% off

Tier 2

$5,000

3% off

Tier 3

$7,500

5% off

Tier 4

$10,000

8% off

Tier 5

$20,000

10% off

  • Applied automatically. Once you've unlocked a tier, the discount comes off the product subtotal of every order you place with that brand. There's no code to enter.

  • Starts on your next order. The order that takes you past a threshold counts toward your spend, and the new discount applies from your next order with that brand.

  • Per brand. Spend with one brand doesn't count toward another brand's tiers.

Example: You've spent $5,200 with a brand by June. You've unlocked Tier 2, so every order you place with that brand gets 3% off for the rest of this year and all of next year. Reach $7,500 and you move up to 5% off.

What counts toward your spend

Your yearly spend is what you were charged at checkout on orders with each brand: your order subtotal, minus discounts, plus shipping.

  • Samples and replacements don't count. Sample orders and replacement orders aren't added to your spend.

  • Cancelled orders are removed. If an order is cancelled, its amount comes off your spend for the year, which can lower the tier you're working on this year. It never takes away a tier you've already locked in from last year.

How long your savings last

  • Through December 31 of the following year. Once you unlock a tier, the discount stays active until the end of the next calendar year, so you get at least a full year of savings after qualifying.

  • You always get the higher discount. Your spend resets to $0 on January 1, but the tier you locked in last year keeps applying. If your new-year spend unlocks a higher tier, the higher discount applies instead.

  • Your year-end spend sets next year's starting tier. Whatever tier your total spend reaches by December 31 is the tier you start the next year with.

Note for 2026: We've retroactively applied volume pricing based on your total spend across 2025 and 2026. Your total spend in 2026 will then set your starting tier for 2027.

Who's eligible

Volume pricing is available to brick-and-mortar stores in Grocery & Markets and Specialty Food Stores. It's switched on automatically when your store type is one of these, and it applies across brands on Airgoods.

Other store types, including beverage and alcohol stores and online-only shops, aren't eligible at this time. If you think your store type is listed incorrectly, email [email protected].

Combining with other discounts

  • Stacks with brand promotions. Your volume pricing discount combines with promotions a brand runs itself, such as those in the Shop Deals tab.

  • Doesn't stack with Airgoods-wide events. It doesn't combine with sitewide events run by Airgoods, such as Holiday Stock-Up Week.

Tracking your progress

Go to Rewards → Volume Pricing to see your tier, your discount and how much more you need to spend with each brand to reach the next tier. Product pages, brand pages and your cart also show your current discount or how far you are from unlocking one, for example Spend $1,200 more to unlock 3% off.
