What are demos on Airgoods?
Demos let eligible brands request in-store product demos at the locations you make available. You control the participating locations, instructions, preferred timing, setup expectations, and any store rules brands need to follow.
How do demos work?
Open Demo Setup to turn demos on, choose which store locations can host them, and add your demo instructions. Share how your store operates so brands know exactly what to do, including preferred days/times, where to set up, where to check in, store rules, and any tips that help demos perform well.
Eligible brands you've ordered from can review your instructions and request a demo. They can optionally propose up to three dates and times based on the availability you configure in your demo settings and locations.
When a brand submits a request, Airgoods will notify you by email. Requested dates must be at least seven days ahead.
Proposed times are preferences. You confirm the location, date, and time when approving the request. Airgoods will help make sure the brand has your instructions and understands the next steps.
How are demo statuses updated?
Airgoods automatically moves an Approved demo to Live on its demo date and moves a Live demo to Completed the following day. You can manually override the status at any time if the schedule or demo changes.
What should I include in my demo instructions?
What products are a fit, including categories, dietary preferences, or brands your customers tend to respond to.
Store rules and expectations, including arrival, check-in, food safety, and staff communication.
Where demos should be set up, such as the front entrance, endcap, checkout area, or another preferred location.
What your store provides vs. what the brand should bring, such as a table, signage, samples, trash bags, permits, or serving materials.
Whether the brand needs to send product for the demo or your store will provide it, including any delivery requirements.
What should my store do before a demo?
A little prep goes a long way. Ahead of the demo, we recommend:
Confirm inventory: Make sure you'll have enough product on hand to sell during and after the demo, and place a reorder if needed.
Confirm logistics: Know where the brand should check in, where they should set up, and any arrival or setup timing expectations.
Make staff aware: Let relevant team members know a demo is happening so check-in and setup are smooth.
Optional - plan a promo: If helpful, share any in-store promo ideas that work well at your store, such as endcap placement, feature signage, or a temporary price promo.
If you include these preferences in your demo instructions, Airgoods will make sure the brand has them before the demo.
