Preorders let you order products before they are ready to ship. Brands may use preorders for upcoming launches, seasonal items, restocks, or products with a future ship window.
When a product is available for preorder, you’ll see a Preorder label and, when available, an expected ship date or ship window.
How do I find preorder products?
You can find preorder products in a few places:
On the marketplace, use the Shipping window filter and select Preorder.
On a brand page, open the Preorder tab if the brand has preorder products available.
Look for the Preorder label on product cards, product pages, and eligible product variants.
How do I place a preorder?
Placing a preorder follows the same process as placing a regular order on Airgoods. Add the preorder product to your cart and check out as usual.
Before adding a preorder item to your cart, you may see the expected ship date or ship window so you know when the brand expects to ship it.
How are preorders split at checkout?
At checkout, Airgoods separates orders by brand and fulfillment timing.
Ready-to-ship products are grouped into regular orders. Preorder products are grouped into separate preorder orders based on their expected ship date or ship window.
This helps keep each order tied to the correct fulfillment timing. Discounts, credits, shipping, and payment terms from the original checkout are applied across the resulting orders.
When will I be charged for a preorder?
You will not be charged until the preorder ships.
Payment is processed after shipment based on the payment terms selected at checkout.
How can I track a preorder?
You can track preorders from your Orders page. Use the order type filter to view only preorder orders.
If the brand updates the expected ship date, Airgoods will notify you.
Can I cancel or change a preorder?
While a preorder is pending, you may be able to update product quantities or remove items from the order page. You can also submit a cancellation request while the preorder is pending, unless its expected ship date has arrived.
Once a preorder has been accepted, in-app item changes and cancellation requests are no longer available. If you need to make a change, message the brand from the order page or contact Airgoods Support.
