Entering tracking numbers for freight (LTL) shipments

How to find and enter the correct tracking number for LTL freight shipments (PRO vs BOL).

When you ship an order using an LTL freight carrier, there are often multiple “reference numbers” on the paperwork. To make sure we can track your shipment correctly, you’ll need to enter the PRO number (not the BOL number).

What to enter in the Tracking Number box

Enter the PRO number.

  • The PRO number is the carrier’s shipment tracking ID.

  • It’s often located near a barcode and may be labeled “PRO” or “PRO NO.”

What not to enter

Do not enter the BOL number.

  • The BOL (Bill of Lading) number is a document identifier and typically won’t work for shipment tracking.

  • It’s often shown near the top of the Bill of Lading and may be labeled “BOL NO.”

Where to find the PRO number

Look on your freight carrier’s Bill of Lading (or pickup paperwork) for:

  • A field labeled PRO / PRO NO., or

  • A number printed next to / above a barcode

If you’re unsure which number is the PRO number, send a screenshot of the Bill of Lading or carrier paperwork to our support team and we can help identify it.

Still not tracking?

If you entered the PRO number and the shipment still isn’t tracking:

  1. Double-check for typos (extra spaces, missing digits)

  2. Confirm the carrier has picked up the shipment and the PRO is active

  3. Contact support with the carrier name and PRO number
